We Ate a GIANT Turkey Leg in Shanghai Disneyland! 🍗

Turning Ordinary Days Into Extraordinary Memories.

Our Honest Experience at Pinocchio Village Kitchen

After a few rides and a lot of walking inside Shanghai Disneyland, we were ready to eat, like, really eat. 😅 Our family was getting hangry, so we decided to check out one of the more budget-friendly food spots in the park: Pinocchio Village Kitchen.

And let me tell you right now… I did not expect the turkey leg to be the size of my daughter’s arm. 😂

Pinocchio Village Kitchen: First Impressions 🍽️

We’ve tried some other Disney restaurants before (including Royal Banquet in Hong Kong), but Pinocchio Village Kitchen in Shanghai had that casual, family-friendly vibe we were looking for. It was warm, cozy, and the menu had both Western and Asian options, perfect for our different cravings!

We checked the menu right at the entrance and quickly realized: the prices here were manageable (by Disney standards, haha).

What We Ordered (And What It Cost!) 💸

Here’s what we got:

🍗 Turkey Leg Rice Bowl – This was mine, and honestly… it was HUGE. The turkey leg looked like a baby’s arm—and yes, I actually compared it to Nacha’s arm in the vlog 😂 The meat was juicy and tender, and the flavor reminded me of Filipino caldereta. Super filling and masarap!

🍜 Beef and Squid Noodles – Noah’s choice! The bowl came with a flavorful broth, slices of beef, and tender squid. Comfort food for sure. Perfect for chilly days in Shanghai.

🥤 Drinks – We also had Pepsi with our meals.

💰 Total cost: 275 RMB (around PHP 2,100) including drinks. We paid using WeChat, which is super convenient if you’re traveling in China.

What Did Nacha Eat? 🧒

Nacha shared my turkey rice bowl, which was more than enough for the both of us. She loved the rice and even had fun watching me “fight” the giant turkey leg with my hands 😂 (No utensils could win against that beast lol.)

Our Dining Experience: Worth It?

Taste: Surprisingly good!
Serving size: VERY generous
Ambience: Clean, cozy, family-friendly
Price: Mid-range for theme park food
Verdict: Definitely worth trying, especially if you’re craving a real meal, not just snacks.

If you’re used to Asian flavors, the turkey leg’s sauce gives that familiar home-style vibe. And if you’re looking for hearty servings, this is a good stop. It’s not “cheap,” but hey, it’s Disney!

Love lots,
