Woooooy! what’s up everyone, welcome to my blog. 😂 This is my first blog here in The Geronimos PH website and I don’t know where to start, I don’t know how to do my intro. Well, I know I can do this. I am thinking to opt generating my first blog using ChatGPT, lol. But I remember that I don’t want this blog to be run by a bot. So, no thanks. I really need to write this thingy.
Ok, so upon brainstorming, I will be focusing to share with you guys my what and why. Here we go…
1 – My reasons (plural) why I created this site
What are my whys? Well, actually there are a hundreds of reasons why should I. I will just highlight the following:
- First, I want to share stories on the web. Why web? Simply, anyone can see it.
- Aside from stories, I want my audience to learn specifically on what I master most which is: WEB
- I wish I could narrate simple but memorable stories of my one and only iha (daughter) and our travel goals
- I wish I could record in writing (without pen & paper) what was on my mind in every moments of our life – whether I’m happy, sad, angry, inspired or maybe confused
- And lastly, I would like to be “blogging” is one of my cashflow source. I think this is the most important reason. 💸
2 – My ideal persona
Ideal persona, target audience, whoever reads this – YOU. Yes, you are my ideal persona. Whether you are aspiring freelancer, a mom or a pop that wants to switch their career to work from home, someone who personally know me and just curious on how I write badly, someone who saw my blog in Google Search results, or maybe someone who randomly sees my blog link on socials.
I know these personas are mixed up on which it is really contradicting to the rule of thumb in building online presence which is to find your niche. So, should I really focus on one persona? In ideal perfect world, yes! But, here I am targeting a large type of audience. Who cares? For me, the wider, the better. My grammar? My typo? As long as I write blogs straight from the heart, then that is enough. 🫶
3 – The trigger point
While I am managing my daily planner (Notion), I identified the list of things that are in the scope of my hobbies that don’t earn. And I just realized that story telling is one of them. I asked myself “how can story telling can be a way of earning?” Blogging.
Honestly, I am not really good at writing (that’s I why I used ChatGPT a lot in my work 🤫) nor in speaking in public, but the desire in my heart is bigger than these limitations. Let me type these words in my mind to speak to you.
So, yeah. There we go. I hope that this short but meaningful blog got your attention to keep tuning more on my upcoming blogs. I am so excited and happy to write every thing I think of. 😁 I am hoping that by the end of the year 2025, this website will be Adsense approved because why not?
